Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Madagascar Q4 2021

During the fourth quarter of 2021, Madagascar's Android platform saw notable activity in the navigation and maps app category. Here’s a look at the performance of the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

GPS, Maps, Voice Navigation by AppStar Studios experienced a gradual increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 209 in the final week of December. Weekly active users also showed an upward trend, starting at 220 and reaching 287 by the end of the quarter.

Live Satellite View GPS Map from Appscourt maintained consistent download numbers, with a high of 162 downloads in late October. The app's active users saw a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, ending at 150 users.

MAPS.ME: Offline maps GPS Nav by MAPS.ME (CYPRUS) LTD had fluctuating download numbers, with a high of 152 in late September and a low of 62 in late October. Active users showed a similar pattern, peaking at 587 at the start of the quarter and dropping to 474 by the end of December.

GPS Navigations Traffic Alerts from Raamo Apps saw steady download numbers, with a peak of 149 in late September and a slight dip to 82 in mid-December. The app maintained a high number of active users, starting at 1.6K and ending the quarter at 1.6K.

GPS Area Measurements by Vasundhara Infotech LLP showed significant growth in downloads, reaching a peak of 167 in early December. Active users also increased steadily, starting at 79 in late September and ending the quarter at 183.
